What do you think about young people who are addicted to drugs?
And
What is better to do for these people?
Should we guide and lead them to the right way or arrest and put them in the Prison?
The answere is simple that everyone will say " we should guide and lead them to the right way.
But in my country it is not the same as what you think.In northern shan state, kachin state and other wherelse almost one person from every family are addicted to drugs. Some places the whole family is addicted to drugs.
On the other hand, the Burmese government is still arresting the people who are addicted to drugs, and NGOs or christian churches are compassionately and hospitably saving the people's lives.
The place where i live in northern Shan state christian missionaries always try to build camp to change drugs addicted people's lives. They can do it for a week or a month then militaries come and invade them like their enemies. They arrest the missionaries and put them in the prison or give them a warning not to do that again.
The junta government allow addicted people to go and take a medical treatment at the city or the place where they are permitted.In this case, eighty percent of drugs addicted people are not able to go to the place where they are supposed to take medical treatment, because their families or parents do not have money to pay for them. Everyday they are dealing with insufficient food problems or financial crisis.
In this situation if UN, Chinese government or Asean do not encourage or remind the Burmese government to permit NGOs or Missionaries and the plublic freely to minister and save drug addicted people's lives, this will grow more and more like a fire spreads from one house to another neighbours' house.
My friend for this blog i do not have any pictures, video and date to identify for what i talk about, but if you really want to know the way we feel you can ask other people or come and visit to our state then you will know how we have to suffer and deal with drugs and the government.
