In the Bible we can see the mission of Paul, usually traveled and visited the churches by the ship or on foot, and there were storm made his trips getting a lot of troubles, sometimes Paul drown into ocean. Anyways God helped and saved him many times.
Traveling to somewhere you have never been before can be fun, risky, and benefited. In August fourteen 2009 at half past ten we started our mission going to see church members at Mea La Laung refugee camp. When we arrived at Measariang it was three o’clock and had lunch. When we were in Legacy our determination was supposed to go to Mea La Laung camp. But we could not succeed the journey because the muddy road did not allow our truck passing beautiful mountains.
Then we changed our position trying to get impossible Mea La Laung camp and we went to Measuraing where the new church member lived, and we had never been before. It was strange to me. When we arrived in a small town we did not know where should we go? And I phoned my friend and he came and led us to the guest house. We negotiated for the next trip to the Measuraing refugee camp what time we would leave.Next morning at half past seven he came down to the guest house and told us ,”we are leaving right now!” We talked to him last night we agreed to leave at eight Am right? Then he said,”we need to cross the river, and to drive through the jungle and small streams. After half past seven we left the town where we spent a night.
On the way Mr. Kun Vian , Aj Nathan, and I were flying in my friend’s super car, because we were uncomfortably sitting and had to hold the bar line not to be flying over the car.
When we made half way to the Measuriang camp, we had a break and took some pictures, then we continued the rest of half way there we could succeed the jungle and small stream but when we reached the river it was unable to cross the flooded river and began to walk and left the car behind.
After we were walking forty minutes or a little more we arrived in the camp. There the family, their relatives and neighbors welcomed us warmly. We took some of their picture and talked a little while and had both lunch and breakfast.
We could stay there some hours then leaving back to the town. They sent us till over the river. I felt sad because we just came and left very quickly. But on the other hand I was happy and glad because we could share them some clothes and foods.
We are very thankful to Aj Nathan and Mr. Kun Vian s’ friend who contributed the clothes and dolls for the refuge people, because when we gave them to them we could see their smiling face and the happier manner.
The Bible said…
“He who has a generous eye will be blessed, For he gives of his bread to the poor.” Proverb 22;9
“Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.” Matt 5:7
However, when we went there we could know and see each other personally we knew what they really need. Sometimes we cannot express with the word how the other people feel and suffer difficulty and living in the camp, and what will their future bring for their children education and lives.
